Course Summary
Mathematics Standard is aimed at students who wish to continue with their study of mathematics in Years 11 and 12 to gain a better understanding and application of mathematics and numeracy in real-world situations. Studying Mathematics Standard in Years 11 and 12 will be beneficial in helping you to develop practical analytical skills.
Year 12 has the option of completing a Standard 1 course or a Standard 2 course. CCAS offers the Standard 2 course only.
Students will be expected to do a project.
What, if any, skills are needed?
It is recommended that students have studied Mathematics 5.2 or 5.3 in Year 10.
