Course Summary
Photography, Video and Digital Imaging offers students the opportunity to explore contemporary artistic practices that use photography, video and digital imaging. These fields of artistic practice resonate with students’ experience and understanding of the world and are highly relevant to contemporary ways of interpreting the world.
Photography, Video and Digital Imaging acknowledges that traditionally accepted boundaries of photography are changing due to the widespread use of digital technologies. Increasingly, however, advanced digital technologies and digital images seek to represent aspects of reality and simulate the real in worlds of virtual reality and the hyper-real.
Mainly practical assignments with one research assignment about famous photographers.
